Heatwave in March!

Nova Scotia has just experienced a week of record breaking temperatures of 28 degrees Celsius compared to the average daily temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, and it felt like we had skipped spring and jumped straight into summer.

I was happy to see that the bees have survived their first winter and were out and about. It seems that like us, they love maple and they soon found the sap dripping out of the crevices of the sugar maples.

And the pigs spent their days basking in the sun …

A sister makes a great pillow!
