Summer Living is Easy

Well, the piglets that were born earlier in the year are growing well and are enjoying the long, lazy days of summer. They sleep in the woods during the heat of the day,  and then munch their way through the pasture in the cooler evenings. The two sows and their piglets have been moved onto new pasture and will stay together for the summer. ‘Morris’, the boar, has been given his own area of pasture.Since he doesn’t like being on his own the dividing fence is high enough for the piglets to go under from one pasture to another and keep him company.

Morris loves a good back rub!
