Winter at Last!

DSCF7469 DSCF7483 DSCF7487 DSCF7464Well, winter finally arrived this week in Nova Scotia.

Still not a great amount of snow but a week of cold temperatures,  -24 Celsius with the wind chill. That meant a week of frozen water troughs and a lot of carrying water for our animals.

Luckily it warmed up a little to a balmy -10 Celsius for the Annapolis Royal Winter Farmer’s Market on Saturday and the sun shone which makes all the difference! So thank you to all our customers that ventured out.

We arrived home to a beautiful winter wonderland….
